Happy School
This system is a method developed by our school after the training on prevention of violence in Portugal. The way schools are implemented is not just
educational violence. The school is painted in soft colors, music is applied in an intermittent time, creating areas to relax. Planting areas are created
in school horticulture to grow plants. Students grow their own plants. They are themselves responsible for their development. That is, physical
changes. Sports grounds are established in the school garden and tournaments are held in various sports. Teachers and students compete on
tournaments. Each student is guided according to their own interests. the enneagram technique is applied to ensure that the match between the bully
or the victim student and the teacher is correct. The process is followed by teachers and parents. Besides these, arrangements can be made
according to local needs in course contents. Violence prevention trainings we have prepared can be applied in lessons. Our innovative method,
approved by the authorities, has achieved 90% success in its first year.
A Few Words About The L.O.V.E.
This partnership project has established with the schools in Turkey, Italy, Poland, Greece,
Macedonia and Lithuania. Both in Europe and Turkey, increased the number of studies about.
bullying which has become a problem. In the study of health behaviors for school age children
(HBSC), 41 countries participated by the World Health Organization, students were questioned
about bullying and bullying within the last twelve months. Turkey, among 41 countries bullying ratio at
school age children (26% boys, 29% girls in )and our third partner in Lithuania is ranked first with
29% of the boys and girls (Currie et al, 2008, WHO). In our work on "participating in the bullfight in
the last school year" among EU countries, we found that the percentage of participation in a bullwhip
per week is not more than 7.5% in Europe, while our project partners are over 25% in Italy, Poland,
Greece and Macedonia (Menesini). In 2017, our schooll teachers who got education on the KA1
School Education Program, prevention Peer Bullying and prevention of violence, they succeeded
implenting the informations in our school among students which they got. Our new program at our
school reduced the bullying rate by 90% in the first year. We want to share the skills of our teachers
who are experts in this matter with the different schools that have the same problem. Also we want to
increase the effectiveness of the project by taking good practice examples from our experienced
partners Italy, Poland, Greece and Lithuania. We aim to achieve internationally recognized. Violence
prevention skills and recognition of their competence and transparency. The reason for our project is
the lack of the teachers who have the ability to prevent violence. There is a need for more specialized
teachers in this area to prevent violence, but there is also no chance for each teacher to receive
education at the international level. The necessity of overcoming these needs was effective in the
preparation of our project. We aimed to bring the benefits of the courses we have received to as large
a mass as possible. We have received complaints from many European countries that they have the
same problem in their own schools. We shared information with our partners, and we came to the
conclusion that on-site training would be appropriate for our work to be more effective. By solving the
problem of violence, we have seen that problems such as dropping out of school, academic failure
and social disharmony will also be solved. We believe that the project will contribute to reducing the
early school dropout, as a one of the goals of the European 2020 strategy, from 15% to 10%. The
target mass of our project is primarily our teachers and students. Then the student parents and all the
segments of society that are experiencing this problem. We aim to have a methodology that will reach
the general level throughout Europe, both internationally and modularly, which can be used in all
educational institutions.
